LANDSCAPE LEADERSHIP
Salma led landscape design-and-build coordination from concept and schematic design through Issued for Construction documentation.
Her scope included approximately twelve themed piazzas and sub-piazzas, planting strategy, hardscape, urban furniture, team management and coordination with the client and project stakeholders.
SITE TO WATERFRONT
The regional reading establishes arrival and orientation. The waterfront masterplan translates that structure into connected promenades, public rooms, planting sequences and clear movement along the water.

A FAMILY OF PUBLIC ROOMS
Planting, material, shade, movement and gathering are composed together. The sequence moves from landscape character to spatial detail while preserving a unified waterfront language.

PROJECT RECOGNITION
Al Qana's design and delivery were recognised through several industry distinctions credited to the project, MZ Architects and the wider consultant and delivery teams.
