POSITION

Creative landscape architect, project manager and creative design consultant with Madanuon in Madinah, educated in architecture and fine arts in Paris.

Salma currently works with Madanuon in Madinah as a Creative Design Consultant, shaping concepts across landscape, public realm, cultural experience and visitor experience. Her practice operates at the intersection of landscape, architecture, art and cultural meaning.

Her international career combines imagination, concept leadership, multidisciplinary collaboration and design development for major waterfront, urban, hospitality, cultural and institutional projects. Her approach transforms strong design narratives into clear spatial experiences and viable outcomes.

MULTIDISCIPLINARY TRAJECTORY

Landscape, art and architecture as one field of thought.

With eighteen years of experience across construction engineering, architecture and landscape architecture in Europe, the Middle East and the Gulf, Salma is accustomed to working within large multidisciplinary organisations and delivering complex landscape and public-realm projects. Her international trajectory includes work within Valode & Pistre and Bizouard & Pin, together with landscape collaboration through Francis Landscapes for the Zaha Hadid Architects design team. Her close exchange with Frédéric Francis and Mona Tarazi, informed by Columbia's design culture, further shaped a collaborative and intellectually rigorous approach to design.

An accomplished multidisciplinary designer, Salma combines an equivalent Licence in Fine Arts from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne with her architectural education in Paris. Registered as ADE, she subsequently obtained the HMONP qualification from ENSAP Paris-La Villette. Her philosophy and operational ethos sit at the intersection of landscape, art and architecture. She approaches urban landscapes and the public realm as foundations for viable, culturally relevant projects that contribute meaningfully to contemporary urban life.
